Our Mission

Unfiltered Insights exists to ask difficult questions, spotlight overlooked narratives, and deliver research that informs real-world decisions. We help clients understand the cultural stakes of their stories—and how to tell them better.

We are not activists. But we are committed to advancing gender equality in sport. Our role is to support clients—especially brands with good intentions—in delivering representation that resonates, without reputational risk.

Our work blends original academic research with commercial strategy. Everything we do—from white papers to workshops—is powered by field-based insight and critical analysis. About Carole Myers

Carole Myers combines three decades of commercial marketing experience with academic credentials in cultural studies. As founder of Conception Marketing, she’s advised high-growth companies on communication and positioning. Her PhD from the University of Manchester explored racialised beauty norms and cosmetic surgery in Brazil. She currently collaborates with Lancaster University Management School, where she teaches, researches, and presents internationally.
